On from the full-back's statements earlier today when he was officially presented as a Nerazzurro, he released some statements to Sky Sport Italia about the current iteration of il Biscione.
“It's not true that this is a smaller team, it only has a younger squad and is more inexperienced compared to the past,” Santon has said.
“We just have to play together.
“When [José] Mourinho was here, Inter was a completely different team that aimed for other objectives, but I came back because Inter is my home.
“[Roberto] Mancini was happy about my coming back, he talked to me right away and he showed me his trust because he made me a starter in Naples right away.
“We have a good vibe between us, but now I'm just thinking of integrating myself with the group in the best possible way.
“As for the Azzurri, now I must do well with Inter, then if you do well with the club, other things come automatically.
“Who says that I'm a Milanista? That's not true!” laughed the player, showing his tattoos of Inter's Champions League and the 17th Scudetto.
