Inter full-back Ashley Young has said he would leave Italy right away if he could return to Watford.
The 35-year-old former England international left Watford in January 2007, when he joined Aston Villa in the Premier League.
He then moved to Manchester United in July 2011 and spent eight and a half years at Old Trafford before joining Inter in January.
Young’s contract at San Siro expires in June 2021 and he has played three games in Serie A already this season, but he admitted he would leave Milan if Watford came calling.

“If I could go back to play there [at Watford] again, I would walk from Italy right now,” Young told The Hornets podcast Golden Tales.
“Because it’s what I know, it’s where I come from and what allowed me to be who I am and get to where I am.
“They gave me a humble start.”
