Sky Sports in both the UK and Italy claim he turned down the chance to extend his current deal with Manchester United, as he wants to force through a move to Inter this month.

Now FCInterNews.it suggest Young’s agents will be in Milan on Friday for face-to-face negotiations, as Inter are ready to offer an 18-month contract straight away.

The initial idea was a six-month deal with option to extend at the end of the season, becoming automatic after a certain number of competitive appearances.

Now 34 years old, the England international is eager to work with Antonio Conte at San Siro, having already been targeted when the coach was at Chelsea.
