Juventus are willing to quadruple Kenan Yildiz’s wages in a new contract, but the Turkish talent is still waiting for a more lucrative offer.

The 19-year-old forward broke into the Bianconeri first team under Massimiliano Allegri last season, where he shined across 32 appearances, scoring four goals and providing an assist. The teenager proved to be one of the few attacking bright spots for the Old Lady last term.

Yildiz’s work at Juventus helped give him a leading role for Turkey at the recent European Championship, starting four of their five outings in Germany. Despite not getting on the scoresheet, he still showed a number of positives in his first international tournament.

Yildiz waits for better Juventus offer

Page four of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Juventus haven’t managed to set up a new contract for Yildiz yet, despite opening talks last month. The two parties haven’t found common ground on his salary.

The Old Lady are willing to quadruple his wages, prepared to give him €1.2m per season, but the 19-year-old believes he’s worth more following Euro 2024 and is holding out for a better offer.

  1. One good season & already asked for hefty raise. You still got a long way to go to prove yourself, boy. Chill out.
