“Pazzini is the target man we have been missing,” the Colombian told Milan Channel. “He wants to win something in Italy.”
Milan had been searching for a new forward after their decision to sell star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain.
The veteran stopper also welcomed new defensive colleague Cristian Zapata after his arrival from Villarreal. He’s replaced PSG-bound Thiago Silva.
“Zapata knows Italian football well,” he said of the former Udinese man. “He is strong and fast and has what it takes to do well.”
Both new boys could make their debuts in Sunday’s Week 1 game against Serie A new boys Sampdoria.
