Il Corriere dello Sport reports Granit Xhaka is pushing Arsenal to accept Roma‘s bid to sign him.

The Switzerland captain has already reached an agreement with the Giallorossi.

The Rome-based paper reports Xhaka will sign a four-year, €2.5m-a-year deal with Roma, but the Serie A giants have not yet reached an agreement with Arsenal.

Xhaka wants to join Mourinho in the capital and is reportedly pushing the Premier League side to finalise the deal with the Giallorossi.

According to the report, Xhaka has confirmed to the Gunners’ executives that he wants a move to the Stadio Olimpico.

However, Arsenal want €20m plus add-ons to sell the 28-year-old who moved to the Emirates Stadium from Borussia Monchengladbach for €45m in 2016.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Friday that an agreement between the two clubs is close as the Serie A giants have reportedly offered €20m including add-ons and the deal could be just around the corner.
