According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Xhaka will sign a four-year, €2.5m-a-year deal with the Serie A giants, but a final agreement with Arsenal has not been reached yet.
Roma have offered €15m plus add-ons to sign the Switzerland captain, but Arsenal want the Serie A giants to raise their bid.
However, the Gunners announced the signing of Lokonga on Monday and the 21-year-old is expected to replace Xhaka in North London, meaning the deal between the Gunners and Roma could be just around the corner.
