As such, the attacker has claimed that he wants to do well at San Siro until May, and hopefully make the plane to Brazil.
“2014 is an important year,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I want to do well for Inter – one of the most important teams in the world.
“I feel important here, and want to do well for the club this season.
“And everyone knows there is a World Cup at the end of the season – it is a unique opportunity.
“But I know that if I don’t do well for Inter then the World Cup won’t come my way.
“I have to do well for Inter if I want to play for Argentina.”
