Three Serie A players are gearing up to start in the biggest game of their lives, the World Cup final between Argentina and France.

The match between the Albiceleste and Les Bleus kicks off at 15:00 UK time at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

The only player in doubt for Argentina heading into the final is Juventus winger Angel Di Maria, but he could appear off the bench later in the match after hitting an acceptable level of match fitness.

France have had multiple injury scares heading into the final but still seem set to deploy a full-strength squad, with players like Aurélien Tchouaméni and Theo Hernandez working hard to be fully fit.

Milan duo Olivier Giroud and Hernandez are both expected to start against Argentina, joining Serie A colleague Adrien Rabiot, who could face off against his Juventus teammate Di Maria in the match. Inter’s Lautaro Martinez is not expected to start but could appear later on.

Probable line-ups for Argentina vs France:

Argentina (3-5-2): E. Martinez; Romero, Otamendi, L. Martinez; Molina, De Paul, E. Fernandez, Mac Allister, Acuna; Messi, J. Alvarez.

France (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Koundé, Varane, Upamecano, Theo Hernandez; Tchouameni, Rabiot; Dembelé, Griezmann, Mbappé; Giroud.
