While Juventus agree terms with Schalke 04, it’s reported Marko Pjaca would prefer Wolfsburg in a Bundesliga loan battle.

This evening there were multiple sources, including Sky Sport Italia, claiming that Schalke had practically agreed a six-month loan worth €1m plus €0.5m in bonuses, but without an option to buy.

An announcement was expected within 24-48 hours, but suddenly Wolfsburg have dived in with a similar proposal.

With that in mind, it’ll now be up to Pjaca to decide and Sky Sport Italia suggest the Croatia international is leaning towards Wolfsburg.

His future for the rest of this season certainly seems to be in the Bundesliga, but it remains to be seen where.

Pjaca has not played for the senior Juventus squad this season due to a serious knee injury, but has fully recovered and now needs regular playing time.
