Without Kulusevski, who will be Allegri’s secret weapon against Inter?

Massimiliano Allegri is preparing Juventus for their home Serie A clash with Inter but will need to replace Dejan Kulusevski, who played a key tactical role in the first two games of the season against the Nerazzurri.

The Sweden international started two games from two against Inter this season before his January move to Tottenham.

Both games were played at San Siro. The first one was a Serie A match in October, while the second was in a Supercoppa clash in January. Kulusevski started both games as an attacking midfielder with defensive duties.

His main task was to man-mark Marcelo Brozovic to limit Inter’s chances to build from the back. However, with Kulusevski off to North London and Weston McKennie injured, Allegri is now looking for alternative solutions. Brozovic is expected to return to action in Turin after missing the last two games before the break.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Federico Bernardeschi is one of Allegri’s options. The Italy international remained at Continassa during the international break as he had not been included in the World Cup play-off squad. Allegri is also considering Manuel Locatelli and Danilo with the versatile defender who has already played in midfield a few times this season.
