According to Il Secolo XIX, Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks is ready to open talks with Sampdoria as he hasn’t yet received offers from the Premier League.
The England midfielder is not in Antonio Conte’s plans for 2022-23 so Fabio Paratici is trying to find a new team for the 26-year-old, who has also been linked with Roma.
Multiple reports in Italy and the UK suggest that Winks wants to stay in the Premier League, but Il Secolo XIX claims the Tottenham midfielder hasn’t yet received offers from England.
Therefore, he is now ready to listen to the offer of Sampdoria. The Blucerchiati are close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham over a loan deal with an option to buy and part of the salary paid by the North Londoners.
Club directors will continue negotiations with Paratici and the player’s entourage in the coming hours.
Winks’ contract at Tottenham runs out in June 2024. He has collected 24 appearances and one goal under Antonio Conte.
