Both Roma and the player would, according to Tuttomercatoweb, meet to understand the attacker’s role in Mourinho’s side.

The Portuguese coach chose Mkhitaryan whilst at Manchester United but decided to exchange him for Alexis Sanchez after a falling out at Old Trafford.

The two parties reportedly feel the need to meet to understand if they can work together at Trigoria and if Mkhitaryan is still considered a useful player for Roma, the clause in the deal will be activated.

If not, the veteran could have to look for a new club after the three remaining games.
