Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta hopes to be able to hold on to Silvan Widmer, but admits that might not be easy.
The 21-year-old Swiss full-back has garnered plenty of interest among the biggest clubs in Italy, and Giaretta explained it might be not be easy to keep the player in Friuli.
“Widmer is doing really well and it’s not something that surprises me,” the director has told Calciomercato.com.
“We are happy with players like him, that were acquired last season and that now are playing even better.
