According to reports in Italy, Milan are still interested in Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, but Borussia Dortmund are in pole position to secure his services.

The former Ajax man is a long-time target for the Rossoneri who will be looking for a new attacking midfielder in January.

Brahim Diaz scored three goals and delivered one assists in the first six Serie A games this season, but failed to score in the following eight matches after returning from COVID.

Therefore, the Rossoneri want to offer one more option to their coach Stefano Pioli, but according to Calciomercato.com, Ziyech is unlikely to move to San Siro in January.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in pole position to sign the 28-year-old who has collected ten Premier League appearances under Thomas Tuchel this term.

Brahim struggles push Milan towards Adli

According to the report, Brest’s Romain Faivre, 23, is Milan’s No.1 target in January.

The French starlet has scored seven goals and delivered five assists in 17 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported last week that Milan would also make an attempt to take Yacine Adli’s to San Siro six months in advance.

Milan signed the 21-year-old from Bordeaux in the summer, but the Frenchman has remained at his club on loan until the end of the campaign.

  1. Get Faivre and Adli, offload Kessié and we’re good until the summer even if we don’t buy another defender to replace Kjaer. We will have our say in the Scudetto race just with those two players I believe.
