Torino have confirmed that they signed Mario Alberto Santana from Napoli at the specific request of their Coach.

“The Argentine was the first player that we were asked to sign by Giampiero Ventura,” Toro President Urbano Cairo noted.

“He is an individual who can play out wide and therefore he will be of use to us.”

Ventura uses an attacking 4-4-2 system that often morphs into a 4-2-4.
