The Sporting judge handed a one-match ban to Theo Hernandez but also decided to fine him €5,000 due to his ‘provocative attitude towards the opposing fans.’

Theo will be available to face Lazio in Coppa Italia tomorrow but will miss the upcoming Serie A fixture against Sampdoria at San Siro on Sunday.

The France international will soon sign a new contract with the Rossoneri, extending his stay at the club until June 2026.

5 thought on “Why Theo Hernandez was fined after Milan derby”
  1. I mean he made a tactical foul, so took one for the team and even took his red card without any problem after that. He didn’t even react to Dumfires’ push and retaliation and went straight down the stairs before Lautaro decided to have a go at him.

  2. What Theo did – and this we could see on tv replays – was that as he was going out of the pitch he cupped his hand to his ear to mimic what Calhanoglu did in the match against milan a few months ago after he scored ….. but as far as I know Calhanoglu was not fined for this provocation to the milan fans – so why should Theo be fined??? wonders of italian sccer justice !!!!!

  3. Clowns, he gets fined but Lautaro can spit and literally a slap on the wrist. I guess Marotta must have smoothed this out behind the scenes.
