Lazar Samardzic will not be unveiled as a new Inter player Tuesday, despite undergoing his medical at the CONI headquarters earlier in the day.

As per reports from Tuttomercatoweb, Samardzic’s agent was not present in Milan on Tuesday and therefore unable to accompany his client, so the timescale for the official announcement has been pushed back.

Despite the agent’s absence, Samardzic still completed his medical on Tuesday and is expected to be presented as a new signing in the coming days.

The 21-year-old will sign for the Nerazzurri on an initial loan deal worth €4m, while Inter have an obligation to buy for a further €16m plus €2m in bonuses. Youngster Giovanni Fabbian has also moved to Udinese as part of the deal, with Inter possessing a buy-back clause.

Samardzic will become Inter’s sixth signing of the summer, following the acquisitions of Marcus Thuram, Davide Frattesi, Yann Aurel Bisseck, Juan Cuadrado and Yann Sommer.
