Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Czech Republic striker Patrik Schick scored five goals each at EURO 2020 but the Juventus player was given the Golden Boot.

Ronaldo has been awarded to UEFA Euro 2020 Alipay top scorer prize with five goals, as he set a new record of goals scored at the Euros.

Ronaldo started with two goals in the 3-0 win over Hungary, before he scored the first in a 4-2 defeat to Germany and added a brace in the 2-2 draw with France in the third round.

The Portugal captain, who has scored 109 times for the Selecao, won the award thanks to his assist against Germany and because he played fewer minutes than Schick.

Ronaldo only played in four games at the European Championship.
