Why Pedri’s goal against Inter was disallowed after VAR check – video

Barcelona starlet Pedri saw his potential equaliser against Inter disallowed due to Ansu Fati’s handball.

The Catalans thought they had levelled the score at minute 66 at the Stadio Meazza. André Onana didn’t catch a cross from Ousmane Dembélé from the right so Pedri had time to stop the ball and put it inside an empty net.

However, referee Slavko Vincic disallowed the goal after a VAR check as Ansu Fati had touched the ball with his hand in the build-up.

It was surely a close call that will cause controversy over the next few days, especially in Spain.
