Didier Deschamps says Benjamin Pavard hasn’t played enough games for Inter, so he’s not part of the France squad for games in October.
Italy’s Nations League opponents, France, meet Israel and Belgium in October, but Les Blues’ coach Deschamps hasn’t included Inter defender Pavard in the team.
“Benjamin plays, but not all games,” he explained at a press conference on Thursday, as quoted by TMW.
“Of course, I follow all players, including Kalulu. I’ve been doing so since he played for Milan. Last season was difficult for him, but he has joined Juventus, which is good for him.”
Kalulu has been a semi-regular starter at Juventus and is expected to get even more playing time following Gleison Bremer’s recent injury.
Kalulu was among the best players on the pitch on Wednesday when the Bianconeri beat RB Leipzig 3-2 in the Champions League.
Pavard has made six Inter appearances this season. A 2018 France World Cup winner, he has scored five goals in 54 appearances with his national team.
This is not an explanation.
Same old clickbait millenial technique…
He’s not playing enough games for Inter…not so hard to undestand.
