Juventus are in advanced talks to sign Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina, but Sky Sport Italia reports that it will take time to complete the transfer.

Fiorentina have announced the purchase of Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa, but they are reluctant to sell Nico Gonzalez to Juventus.

Multiple reputable sources reported earlier this week that the Bianconeri had reached an agreement over a €30m transfer, but the latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the two clubs are still discussing the transfer formula.

Two reasons why Nico Gonzalez Juventus transfer stalls

Fiorentina are pushing for a permanent transfer, while Juventus want a loan deal with an obligation to buy, according to the pink paper.

It remains to be seen, however, if Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso will allow Nico to join Juventus. Il Corriere dello Sport and Sport Mediaset said on Tuesday that the Tuscans’ owner didn’t want to send the Argentinean to Turin, and Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed the same today.

Atalanta are also interested in Nico who hasn’t been called up for Fiorentina’s first Serie A game of the season against Parma today.
