Tanguy Ndombele is on the verge of joining Napoli on loan with an option to buy from Tottenham Hotspur and according to reports in France, he will wear kit No.91.

The France international will bolster Luciano Spalletti’s options in the middle of the park. He will undergo his medical with the Partenopei today.

The deal comes with an option to buy for €30m for the Partenopei, reports in Italy claim.

As per RMCSport, the ex-Lyon midfielder will wear No.91 at the Stadio Maradona, which is the Paris banlieue where he was born and raised.

The 25-year-old had picked No.28 at Tottenham this season.

He moved to North London from Lyon for circa €60m in the summer of 2019. However, he struggled to justify his price tag in the Premier League, where he scored six goals in 63 appearances.

He returned to his former club Lyon on loan this past January, collecting 15 appearances across all competitions in France.
