Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has exploded onto the European scene this season with Napoli and top clubs around the continent are starting to take notice.

The Partenopei picked up the 21-year-old Georgian winger from Dinamo Batumi in the summer in a deal worth around €10m, a price that immediately looks like a bargain following his electric start to life in Campania. Kvaratskhelia has scored eight goals and provided 10 assists in 17 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League this season.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the work of Kvaratskhelia is starting to draw attention from some top clubs around Europe like Liverpool and Chelsea but Napoli aren’t at risk of losing the 21-year-old any time soon.

In the summer, the Georgian winger put pen to paper on a five-year contract that includes an option for a sixth. He earns around €1.5m net per season plus add-ons and notably, his deal does not include a release clause of any kind, putting no pressure on Napoli to sell.

  1. not many clubs will go after a guy whos at a good club and played brilliantly for 1 yr, they will want consistency on 2yrs at least

  2. his agent spoke about this to a very well-known Italian sportswriter on a well-known video website – discussing this very topic
