A large portion of the travelling Milan supporters walked out of the stadium after 10 minutes of their Serie A match away against Monza on Saturday evening in solidarity with some members of the Curva Sud, who were not allowed to enter the ground, reports suggest.

Why Milan fans left Monza match after just 10 minutes

A large chunk of the Milan away support walked out of the stadium after just 10 minutes, as around 50 members of the Curva Sud were not granted access into the stadium, despite there being no prior restrictions, according to updates from Milannews.it

In a strong show of support, many other Rossoneri supporters walked out of the stadium to join those who weren’t allowed in. Not all of the away sector cleared out, some decided to stay put.

The scores were still level at 0-0 at the time of the early walk-out.

Paulo Fonseca was able to welcome Theo Hernandez, Tijjani Reijnders and Christian Pulisic back into his starting XI for the Monza game, but Rafael Leao started on the bench again for the third Serie A match in a row.
