Manchester United are interested in signing Theo Hernandez but Milan are reportedly confident that they won’t lose the Frenchman this summer.

The Red Devils are looking for a new left back to add to Erik ten Hag’s squad, keen to try and close the gap with Treble champions Manchester City. Top of their list is Hernandez, who continued to shine under Stefano Pioli this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 45 total games.

No offer has been made yet and Milan are hoping it’ll stay that way, not wanting to lose Hernandez, who is considered a central part of the project in the Lombardy capital.

As detailed by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan would only begin considering offers for Hernandez once they entered the range of around €80-90m, reflective of his importance to Pioli and the club.

The 25-year-old is contracted to the Rossoneri until 2026 and is happy in the Lombardy capital, so the club are confident that Manchester United’s interest won’t pose too much of a threat.
