Timothy Weah remains a target for Olympique Marseille, but they believe the €13m offer is sufficient and will not increase it for the Juventus winger.

It has been a difficult summer for the USMNT star, who turned down a move to Nottingham Forest and seemed more inclined to accept the transfer to Ligue 1 with Marseille.

While negotiations are at an advanced stage, it is worth noting that for the moment Olympique Marseille do not intend to increase their proposal beyond €12-13m.

This is because it was already more than the bid that Nottingham Forest had seen accepted by Juventus, and they do not understand why it has not been given the all clear yet.

Another issue is that Marseille have already spent big for Igor Paixao from Feyenoord, who had been a target for Roma and Leeds United, forcing up the price.

Now the decision is ultimately up to Juve, who can either accept or ask for a tiny adjustment to the offer.
