Max Allegri said on Friday that he would consider resting the Serbia international in today’s match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
“That’s a good idea, I’ll think about it,” he said, smiling when asked whether he could give a break to his star striker in Florence.
Juventus play their first Champions League group stage game of the season on Tuesday away at PSG, so Allegri is resting the Serbia international today, sources told Football Italia.
