Juventus face Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium this evening, and a win is mandatory if they want to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive.

Gianluigi Buffon will start in goal, but La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the goalkeeper is disappointed with his former teammate, and apparently, he is not the only one.

Juventus players met yesterday to discuss the current issues and motivate themselves ahead of the crucial meeting with Sassuolo.

‘Players are unhappy with the coach, not only for his training sessions that are considered too light,’ the paper reports.

‘There were statements, like those regarding Weston McKennie, that the players didn’t like.’

Before the Milan clash, Pirlo had claimed the American midfielder “has to be professional at 100 per cent, not 50 per cent.”

‘The team felt abandoned, the relationship between the players, the coach and the directors is tense and the club considers the footballers the main responsible for this situation,’ the report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms the former midfielder has little chances to save his job and that it's likely that he will part ways with Juventus at the end of the campaign.
