According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus have put talks to sign Jadon Sancho on hold as the Manchester United winger is too expensive, so Georgiy Sudakov is emerging as one of the Old Lady’s priorities in the January transfer window.

Juventus will likely sign a midfield reinforcement in January, but Max Allegri could also get a new player to strengthen his attacking department.

Juventus are following several different profiles, especially Sancho and Domenico Berardi. However, according to Tuttosport, the English winger is currently too expensive for the Bianconeri, who will be dealing with a reduced transfer budget in the winter transfer window despite a recent cash injection.

‘The costs of a potential deal are exaggerated,’ wrote journalist Stefano Lanzo on Wednesday.

At the same time, Berardi is reportedly Juventus’ primary target in attack, but Sassuolo don’t want to sell their star in January and will demand a high fee which Juventus are not willing to pay for a player who will turn 30 next year.

Therefore, the Bianconeri may try to get Sudakov from Shakhtar in the winter transfer window.

A versatile 21-year-old winger, Sudakov’s price tag is in the region of €25m and his salary is still affordable for the Serie A giants.

According to the report, Juventus director Giuntoli has been following Sudakov for several months, including in his latest appearance with the Ukraine national team against Italy.
