Juventus have given up on signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, according to reports in Italy, having already secured enough reinforcements.

The 24-year-old is not part of Erik ten Hag’s plans at Old Trafford, even after resolving their previous feud, and is looking for an alternative for this season.

Juve had hoped to get him on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, but multiple Italian reports including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Calciomercato.com all argue the terms demanded by the Premier League club were simply too much.

Sancho too much for Juventus

Juve did not want to pay more than half his €10m per season salary and would’ve preferred a dry loan without any option to buy.

In addition, they had already signed Nico Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao for the wings, with Next Gen youth player Samuel Mbangula impressing in Serie A so far this season.

They have also so far been unable to sell Filip Kostic, so all those elements come together to make Sancho improbable for Juventus.
