According to reports on Thursday afternoon, Premier League side Tottenham are still pursuing Juventus’ Samuel Iling-Junior in sight of the January transfer window, and the Bianconeri have multiple reasons to let the England U21 international leave.

As per Calciomercato.com, the North London outfit have been following Iling-Junior for multiple transfer windows already and had already made an enquiry in the summer of 2022.

Iling-Junior had impressed during his breakthrough season in 2022-23, racking up 18 senior appearances across Serie A, the Champions League, Europa League and Coppa Italia.

However, opportunities have been few and far between this campaign, as Allegri has handed Iling-Junior just 113 minutes of action across four appearances in 2023-24.

As he is not currently a first team regular, Juventus would be willing to allow Iling-Junior to move on.

Additionally, selling the former Chelsea academy player would provide the funds necessary to facilitate incomings for Juve, who are reportedly keen on bringing a new midfielder to the club in January.

According to Calciomercato’s latest update, the price has fallen slightly in recent weeks. Juventus would reportedly sign off on the move for a fee of €18m.
