Simone Inzaghi didn’t speak to the media on the eve of tonight’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus, while Inter will travel to Turin today: here’s why.

The Nerazzurri visit Juventus at the Allianz Stadium tonight in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.

Inter coach Inzaghi didn’t hold a classic pre-match press conference on the eve of the match on Monday, which is quite common, especially when the Nerazzurri play twice a week.

However, he didn’t even speak to Inter’s official website this time. According to Gazzetta, Inzaghi wanted to ‘lighten the weight on the players’ shoulders’ after three consecutive Serie A defeats.

Likewise, the Nerazzurri will only reach Turin with their team bus today as Inzaghi wanted his players to ‘release the tension’ and rest after Saturday’s defeat to Fiorentina.

The Nerazzurri did not travel to the Capital of Piedmont on Monday and will arrive in town today. They will return to their homes in Milan from the Allianz Stadium straight after the game tonight.
