It is true that Atalanta are waiting for Fulham to find the Rodrigo Muniz replacement, but their first target is Kevin of Shakhtar Donetsk rather than Inter’s Mehdi Taremi.
The transfer market often requires several pieces to slot into place so that certain players can be released and others complete their moves, so a certain degree of patience is required.
In the case of Atalanta, they have gone beyond the €40m figure with their latest proposal for Fulham centre-forward Muniz, by adding in some performance-related bonuses.
Fulham must find Muniz replacement before Atalanta transfer

Now they have to wait for Fulham to find his replacement and the first choice for that role is Kevin.
Brazilian sources suggested this morning that the opening Fulham proposal worth €35-38m was rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk, but a new and improved bid is already in the works for the young talent.
This also allows us to confirm that, as reported over the last few weeks, Napoli had shown an interest in Kevin, but made no significant steps to secure his signature.
