Although the rivalry between Juventus and Fiorentina is one biggest in Italian football, only a few fans from Tuscany have travelled to Turin for today’s game against the Bianconeri.

It kicks off at 17.00 GMT. You can follow the game live on the liveblog.

The rivalry between the Bianconeri and La Viola is one of the biggest in Italy, but barely 100 Fiorentina fans have turned up to the Allianz Stadium for today’s match with the Bianconeri.

This is because of a protest from Fiorentina ultras who announced earlier this week that they would not travel to Turin.

To buy tickets for the game, they were required to register on the official Juventus site, a procedure they didn’t want to follow.

Fiorentina ultras released a statement on Friday saying they would not travel to Turin and urging ordinary fans to do the same: “It’s time to give a sign to the masters who have made this sport a business. Football belongs to people,” they said.

Juventus confirmed after the break that 34,717 fans are at the Allianz Stadium today, but only 127 from Florence.
