Ferran Torres broke into tears after Barcelona‘s 1-1 draw against Napoli and played the second half wearing a kit without the club’s crest.

The former Manchester City winger converted a spot-kick in the second half against the Partenopei yesterday but missed many goal-scoring opportunities triggering his reaction after the final whistle.

Ferran broke into tears while on his way to the tunnel and was comforted by club legend Carles Puyol on social media. “Ferran will give us many joys,” the former centre-back wrote on Twitter.

Torres had attracted attention during the match not just because of his mistakes in front of the goal.

The Spain international played the second half of the match against Napoli wearing a kit without Barcelona’s crest and Nike’s logo because they hadn’t been appropriately stuck to his jersey. According to AS, nobody noticed it when players swapped their shirts in the dressing room during the break.

  1. Can afford to offer Kessie a huge contract, but can’t afford some decent glue to make the badge stick? That’s just funny
