Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly texted Antonio Cassano to complain over his claims about him and Leo Messi, but that’s not the only reason why CR7 is furious with the former Italian striker.
Cassano revealed on Friday night that Cristiano Ronaldo had texted him to complain about his claims after Messi’s Ballon d’Or victory.
Cassano believes Messi is better than the former Juventus striker and added that Ronaldo contacted him asking his telephone No. to Gianluigi Buffon, one of Ronaldo’s former teammates in Turin.
Cassan0 has been taunting Ronaldo several times over the last few months, most of the time during Bobo TV, a Twitch show hosted by former Italy striker Christian Vieri, where Cassano, Nicola Ventora and Daniele Adani are regular guests.
Back in October, Cassano said that Ronaldo is ‘not even among the top five players in history.’
“For me, he is not in the top 5. I would put [Lionel] Messi, [Diego] Maradona, Pelé, [Johan] Cruijff. And then I’ll put Ronaldo, ‘Il Fenomeno’. Period,” he said at that time.
“If we have to free someone, then [Marco] van Basten, as I don’t know [Alfredo] Di Stefano. Let’s not exaggerate.”

In April 2020, he said that ‘there was only one Ronaldo’ and it was ‘the Brazilian one’ referring to the former Inter and Barcelona ace.
Cassano played for several clubs in Serie A, including Roma, Milan and Inter and joined Real Madrid for a short spell in 2006-07.
The 39-year-old ensured Ronaldo really texted him and forwarded his messages to Giorgio Chiellini and Gigi Buffon.
