Chelsea remain in the race to sign Inter starlet Cesare Casadei, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are ready to offer €10m.

Chelsea, OGC Nice and Sassuolo have set their sights on the 19-year-old named the best player of last season’s Campionato Primavera, won by the Nerazzurri side.

Inter’s financial struggles mean they need to sell some of their assets, and Casadei has been discussed with the Blues, Sassuolo and Nice.

The Italian and French clubs are willing to include a buy-back clause for Inter, something the Premier League giants won’t do.

However, Chelsea have more financial resources and can offer more money to the Nerazzurri. According to Gazzetta, there were new ‘indirect’ contacts between clubs’ directors yesterday with the Blues ready to raise their offer to €10m.

Thomas Tuchel’s side had an €8m bid rejected last week. Inter seem unwilling to sell for less than €15m.

  1. Crazy Eyes Marotta doing wonders on the transfer market again. Selling of youth for peanuts and signing a never has been retiree in Mkhitaryan. They’re really going to take series A by storm this year with their trident Dzeko – Mkhitaryan – Caicedo. Hahahahahaha.

  2. Zambrotta
Caicedo isn’t an Inter player anymore and Miki is an attacking Mid. Inter attack is LU-LA then Correa and Dzeko. Update your knowledge.

  3. Caicedo went back to Genoa and got his contract terminated due to a clause regarding relegation.

Pinmonti has been sold, so Caicedo could end up anywhere being a free agent.

  4. Pathetic, to sell a potential Italian star abroad for peanuts. Do us all a favor and sell the team and go back to China.
