Olivier Giroud will return for the Champions League showdown with Borussia Dortmund, but Francesco Camarda cannot feature for Milan due to a ban.

It kicks off at San Siro on Tuesday at 20.00 GMT and is a potentially huge fixture for qualification into the Round of 16.

The Rossoneri were so short-staffed in attack for last night’s 1-0 Serie A victory over Fiorentina that Luka Jovic was their only centre-forward.

It saw Camarda come off the bench to make history as the youngest ever Serie A debutant, aged 15 years, eight months and 15 days.

However, Camarda will not be on the bench for the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund because he was sent off in the UEFA Youth League and must sit out a ban.

That covers all UEFA competitions, including the ‘senior’ Champions League.

On the other hand, while Giroud continues his two-match Serie A ban, it does not qualify for the Champions League and he can play on Tuesday.

Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor are nursing injuries and probably won’t be part of the squad.
