Why Allegri was furious with Juventus players in stoppage time

Massimiliano Allegri was fuming on the touchline minutes before the final whistle of JuventusUdinese as he wanted his players to handle the ball more wisely.

The Italian tactician was unhappy with how his players were handling the ball in the final minutes of the match.

The Bianconeri had broken the deadlock only a few minutes earlier through Danilo and Allegri expected his lads to keep the ball in their feet, without taking many risks.

However, he didn’t see what he expected and made sure his lads knew he wasn’t happy. He was seen screening meters outside his technical area and, for this reason, the referee booked him.

Juventus have now won eight games in a row without conceding and are four points below Napoli, who have a game in hand.

Allegri said at the end of the game that the Partenopei are the favourite to win the title.

On Friday, the Bianconeri visit Luciano Spalletti’s side at the Stadio Maradona.
