Victor Boniface will not be the new Milan striker, something that had been fairly evident since Friday, but the Rossoneri got it all wrong in this situation.

When the medical tests kept on coming and there was still no all clear, it was obvious this was not going to proceed, and the confirmation came today from Bayer Leverkusen’s director of sport.

Boniface was always at risk, so why drag it out so publicly?

If we might be so bold, we’d say Milan dealt terribly with the whole thing.

Once upon a time, when dealing with players who had the long injury history of Boniface, directors would’ve ensured medical tests were performed in secret before making a definitive decision.

Instead, as far as we are concerned, Milan unfairly and pointlessly subjected the Nigerian to cameras and selfies, knowing full well the whole time that the transfer was at risk.

It would’ve been far better to proceed with caution and away from the media glare, so that it could be evaluated behind closed doors and not under the spotlights.

The ideal strategy for both Milan and the player would be silence, but they should’ve thought of that before and not afterwards. It’s a pity.

  1. Let’s face it, Milan’s management since last days of Berlusconi to the current one has been a mess. Their supporters should stop bragging about 7-time CL champions, that was then. Stop living in the past

  2. LOL
Good luck having to deal with a transfer “secretly” and “in silence” in the era of social network, agents and in general people who are getting their noses in these businesses. Please FI BE REAL

  3. Chai! Sorry dear. You really have been pained, with your excellent management you’re now Real Mardrid. I see the endless UCL trophies in your trophy room. My brother, stop crying, Milan with one leg will always be bigger than inter merda.

  4. Bit of a pointless article. Times have changed for some time, now every transfers is known about for weeks during negotiations due to the media like this site, whereas in the past everything was behind closed doors until something was announced.

  5. The only clowns here are you people who think Milan can someone be a hackerman and do everything in secret
