Wanda Nara reportedly wants to divorce former Inter captain Mauro Icardi, but who will become the striker’s agent if it happens?
Wanda accused Icardi of cheating on her with an Instagram story published on Saturday night.
She met Icardi in their apartment in Milan the day after, but according to multiple reports in Italy and Argentina, she wants to divorce the striker after discovering an affair between him and the actress Eugenia Suarez.
Icardi will miss tonight’s Champions League clash between PSG and RB Leipzig due to family issues, but his possible breakup would have further consequences for his professional life.
Wanda is not only his wife, but also his agent, so who would become the player’s representative if they split up?
Italian agent Valerio Giuffrida is the first name that comes to mind as he’s been assisting Wanda with Icardi’s transfer to PSG.
He is one of the intermediaries allowed to discuss with Italian clubs about Icardi’s future, so he could be an option if Wanda divorces the former Inter striker.
Perhaps, Mino Raiola could be an option too.
The Italian agent was rumoured to become the player’s agent in 2018 and 2019, but nothing ever happened, with the Argentinean striker who has remained loyal to his wife and agent until now.
According to LAM in Argentina, Icardi could even ask to leave PSG on a free transfer if he breaks up with Wanda as his contract with PSG is under his wife’s name.
However, PSG have not confirmed rumours. The Ligue 1 giants have given permission to Icardi to miss tonight’s Champions League match with Leipzig.
Icardi’s contract with PSG expires in June 2023 and he’s been linked with a return to Serie A with Milan and Juventus interested.
