Lazio and Fiorentina risk facing West Ham United, Villarreal or OGC Nice in the Conference League Round of 16 draw.
The draw will be held in Nyon on Friday February 24 at 12.00 GMT.
As the Biancocelesti and the Viola both came through the play-offs, they will be unseeded and therefore drawn against one of the Conference League group winners.
Lazio dropped down from the Europa League after finishing third in their group, squeezing past CFR Cluj 1-0 on aggregate.
Fiorentina were the runners-up in their Conference League group and disposed of SC Braga 7-2 on aggregate in the play-offs.
The seeded teams will play the second leg of the Round of 16 on home turf, with the first leg on March 9 and the return on March 16.
There are some restrictions, as teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other, but in theory Fiorentina could reunite with Istanbul Basaksehir, who topped their group.
