The Italian tactician has given Emil Roback his first senior call-up against Sassuolo.
He was signed from Hammarby for €2m last summer and according to Goal.com, Zlatan Ibrahimovic suggested the Rossoneri to secure the services of the 17-year-old striker.
Roback signed his first professional contract with Hammarby in January 2020, aged 16.
He then joined Swedish third-division club Frej on loan where he played eight games and made his Hammarby senior debut in the Swedish cup against IFK Goteborg in June.
Roback scored a goal in his Sweden U17 debut in 2019 against Denmark.
He is not a classic centre forward as he rather prefers to start from the left, cutting inside down the flank.
The 17-year-old trained with Milan’s senior team during the preseason this summer and played a friendly game against Monza. He has one appearance with the Rossoneri’s Primavera team so far this season.
