According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Angel Di Maria and Adrien Rabiot will surely leave Juventus if the Bianconeri are banned from European competitions, but the future of Dusan Vlahovic and Leandro Paredes is also in doubt.

The Bianconeri have recently been handed a 15-point deduction due to financial irregularities and could face a similar penalty in a second sporting trial that will likely take place in the coming months, looking into the alleged salaries they paid under the table during the peak of the COVID pandemic.

UEFA could also take action in the future, reacting to the sporting trials in Italy, and banning the Old Lady from European competitions for at least one season.

According to Gazzetta, Di Maria and Rabiot will surely leave Juventus if the Serie A giants are excluded from European competitions or if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season. A likely scenario, given that the Bianconeri are now 14 points below the fourth place in Serie A following their points deduction.

Di Maria and Rabiot see their contracts expire in the summer and while Rabiot is willing to listen to offers from the Premier League, Di Maria would consider a return to Argentina. They are among the highest earners in Turin with a €7m-a-year salary.

Vlahovic could also force a transfer from the Allianz Stadium in the summer if Juventus remain out of European competitions. Several Premier League clubs are interested in the Serbia international, but Juventus would not accept an offer below €90m.

Paredes could also return to PSG after the end of his loan spell, regardless of Juventus’ future in European competitions. The Bianconeri no longer have an obligation to buy after failing to qualify for the Champions League Round of 16 and are unlikely to pay €22.6m to make his move permanent beyond 2023.
