Juventus transfer expert Romeo Agresti reports Thiago Motta is expected to sign his contract with the Bianconeri next week.

Motta is set to be appointed as the new Juventus coach and according to Romeo Agresti, the ex-Italy international will sign a contract with the Serie A giants next week. Sky Sport and Calciomercato.com say the same, adding that Motta will probably sign his contract while on holiday in Lisbon.

When Thiago Motta is expected to sign Juventus contract and Allegri updates

Motta has just led Bologna to a historic Champions League placement, but his contract at the Dall’Ara was due to expire in June, and he informed the club last week that he would not extend it.

There have been mixed reports on the details of Motta’s deal in Turin, but the latest from Sky Sport Italia claimed the former Inter, Barcelona, and PSG midfielder would earn €5m per season until 2027.

Massimiliano Allegri is still under contract with Juventus for one more year, and Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that the former Bianconeri coach offered to terminate the agreement for €14m gross rather than €20m. However, the club aim to pay less than that, especially after sacking him for disciplinary reasons.
