Juventus have announced the results of Angel Di Maria’s medical tests and things look relatively positive for the 34-year-old.

The Argentinian winger was forced off in the 24th minute of the Bianconeri’s Champions League loss to Maccabi Haifa with a painful muscle injury, prompting fears that his World Cup could be in doubt. Di Maria visited J-Medical this morning for a round of tests and the results are fairly good considering the situation.

As announced by Juventus, tests revealed that Di Maria has suffered a low-grade hamstring injury in his right thigh, which’ll keep him sidelined for at least 20 days.

The Bianconeri hope to recover Di Maria in time for the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain on November 2, if not the following game against Inter on November 6.

The 34-year-old Di Maria has not had an easy time since arriving in Turin in the summer, struggling with a tear in his adductor muscle straight after his strong debut against Sassuolo.
