Federico Chiesa partially trained with the rest of the Juventus squad yesterday and should be back in action with the Old Lady by the end of the month.

The Italy international suffered a severe knee injury in Juventus’ 4-3 win over Roma in January, but his recovery process is almost over now given that Juventus hope to see him back in action by the end of the month.

Tuttosport newspaper suggests that the 24-year-old could be back for games against Benfica (October 25) or PSG (November 2).

The Serie A campaign stops on November 13, one week before the beginning of the World Cup, so Chiesa will use the break to further improve his fitness.

Juventus boss Max Allegri said last month that Chiesa will be 100% fit starting from January 2023.

It remains to be seen if Italy boss Roberto Mancini will call the ex-Fiorentina winger for international friendlies against Albania on November 16 and Austria on November 20.
