Serie A clubs can register new signings in the winter transfer window starting January 2, 2024, and have time to complete new purchases until January 31.

The winter Serie A transfer window opens tomorrow, January 2, 2024 and ends at 19:00 GMT (20:00 in Italy) on January 31.

Despite the Italian government’s decision to scrap the Growth Decree, we expect an exciting transfer session with all big sides on the lookout for at least one reinforcement.

Atalanta and Inter will probably be the first sides to register new signings. Simone Inzaghi is ready to welcome Canada international Tajon Buchanan at the Stadio Meazza, while Atalanta are on the verge of signing Isak Hien from Hellas Verona on a permanent €9m transfer.

Milan will be looking for at least one new centre-back and could bring back Matteo Gabbia from his loan at Villarreal. José Mourinho’s Roma also need defensive reinforcements, while Juventus will be looking for a new central midfielder following the suspensions of Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli.
