Simone Inzaghi confirms that injured Canada star Tajon Buchanan will return to action between December and January.
Buchanan suffered a fractured tibia while on Copa America duty with the Canadian national team in July and was, therefore, forced to undergo surgery.
In his latest interview with DAZN, Inter boss Inzaghi confirmed the defender’s recovery time and when he will return to action with the defending Serie A champions.
“We’d have to sign one defender, given Buchanan’s absence until December-January,” the Italian tactician said.
Inter will make their 2024-25 Serie A debut on Saturday in an away game at Genoa. Click here to read what Inzaghi said about the upcoming campaign.
